Using Internal and External Dit Da Jow
One aspect of Dit Da Jow that is overlooked by a lot of people is using internal and external Dit Da Jow at the same time. Combining both approaches offers the fastest healing for most injuries. There are two internal formulas that are the best out there, the first is called Tieh Shang Wan and the other is called Die Da Yao Wang. Both of these formulas can be used for blood stasis injuries or conditions as they break up blood stagnation and move Qi. Tieh Shang Wan which also is called Chinkoo is very good for sprains, contusions, and other impact or twisting injuries. Die Da Yao Wang is can be used for the same purpose but can also be used for bone, tendon an inflammation in the joints. It also can be used for Iron Palm/Body training.
How to Use
Both formulas should be taken on an empty stomach with water that is room temperature or warmer, never cold. For fast healing from an injury first apply your Dit Da Jow on the injured area making sure the area is saturated with liniment then let it air dry. Next take your internal formula, this can be done 2-3 times per day depending on the internal formula you choose. Using internal and external Dit Da Jow simultaneously offers tremendous healing in a short period of time.
Iron Palm Training
One other aspect most people neglect is using an internal formula alongside their external Iron Palm liniment when training Iron Palm or Iron Body. If you want to speed up the healing and conditioning from impact training like Iron Palm training then combine a formula like Die Da Yao Wang with your external liniment after a training session. I have seen a noticeable reduction in time when it came to breaking a coconut or brick, instead of lets say 100 days it was only 75 days to accomplish the breaking. By combining both internal and external you also will help prevent issues like arthritis in the future. So using an internal formula is adding another important tool to your toolbox and should not be overlooked.
Combining The Two Internal Formulas
We are often asked can both of the internal formulas be taken together, they can, but in a different method. You would take one formula in the morning and the other in the afternoon, rotating each formula during the day and week. This would be done if for example you suffered a deep bone bruise or a severe sprain where the ligaments were slightly torn with a lot of swelling. So their is a lot of versatility using both formulas either independently or together.
Combining Dit Da Jow And Iron Palm Liniment
You can do the same with our Shaolin Dit Da Jow and Iron Palm liniments. If you have read any of our pages regarding Dit Da Jow you know their is a difference between Dit Da Jow and Iron Palm. One is for bruises and blood stagnation and the other is for bone, tendon and connective tissue health. There are some liniments that combine the property of both types but we are talking about the individual liniments right now.
For some injuries where the soft tissue, muscle, bone or tendons are involved combining both of these liniments at a 50/50 ratio can be extremely beneficial. I like to have in my gym bag a 4oz bottle with both the Dit Da Jow and Iron Palm combined (50/50 ratio) this comes in handy when the situation arises. This really is effective and you can use this combination along with the internal formulas for a speedy recovery.
In Conclusion
Using internal and external Dit Da Jow formulas can be a life saver and can speed up the healing process and recovery time from an injury. Being able to heal quickly is something we all want as it allows us to be pain free and continue on with our life feeling good. So having these items at our fingertips is smart when we need them the most. So keep this in mind especially if you get injured often as using internal and external Dit Da Jow might also help prevent injuries in the future.
