Die Da Jiu Liniment Kit

Classic Authentic Die Da Jiu Liniment Kit

Most martial artists refer to Die Da Jiu as Dit Da Jow which is more phonetically how it is pronounced. The Die Da Jiu sold by East Meets West Intl is probably the most authentic you will find online.

Our Die Da Jiu uses the classic Shaolin recipe with over 17 powerful and aromatic herbs prepared fresh before shipping to our customers.

When you open your kit you will be blown away from the freshness and you literally can feel the power of the herbs as it is being unwrapped.

Preparing your Die Da Jiu is fast and easy. All you need is a glass jar with a airtight lid. The jar should be at least a gallon in size a 5 liter jar is even better if you want to make more Jiu. You will also need some vodka or gin as your solvent to extract the compounds from the herbs. The great thing is you do not need anything expensive as long as it is 40% alcohol 80 proof you are good to go, it can be whatever is on sale.

Depending on the size jar you have, start with two 1.75 liter bottles of alcohol and then you can top it off later. All you need to do is add the herbs into the jar, add your alcohol and shake your jar. You will notice after a day or so that the level of your alcohol has gone down, that is from the herbs absorbing the alcohol into the cell walls. At this time you can add more alcohol if you wish.

Shaking your jar twice daily for the first 3 to 4 weeks really speeds up the extraction and enables you to start using in 3-4 weeks if you wish.

What Can Die Da Jiu Do For Me?

Die Da Jiu heals injuries related to blood stasis and blood stagnation, this can be anything like bruises, contusions, hematomas and pulled or sore muscles. Hitting the tip of your thumb with a hammer creates blood stasis and blood stagnation as evidenced by the swelling and blackish thumbnail.

Healing Contusions with Die Da Jiu

This is a nasty bruise which is exactly what Die Da Jiu is for.

Most trauma type injuries, like falling, getting hit, spraining your ankle are all examples of blood stasis and blood stagnation. When blood is stagnated there is pain and swelling, applying Die Da Jiu allows the blood to flow and the healing begins. In Traditional Chinese Medicine this is referred to as freeing the Qi, as Qi flows the body heals.

What Will It Help?

  • Heal Bruises
  • Heal Sprains
  • Soft Tissue Injuries
  • Pulled or Sore Muscles (DOMS)
  • Shin Splints
  • Weak Blood Vessels
  • Mild Pain Relief

Most people are surprised at the speed at which it heals, unless of course they have used it previously. Applying a small amount of the Die Da Jiu several times per day is all that is needed to heal most injuries.

What Die Da Jiu Is Not For

As powerful as Die Da Jiu is, it is not for all injuries. If you suffer from joint pain or arthritis you might be better suited to use a Iron Palm type liniment since they are more suited to these type of conditions. Generally any injury that involves tendons, ligaments and connective tissue, Iron palm would be the liniment to use or a combination of both Die Da Jiu and Iron Palm.

Generally chronic type injuries might see better results from the Iron Palm liniment or both. We recently had a customer write us and say how he had a nagging injury that was over a month old that was constantly aggravated from his martial arts training. It was so painful he could barely pickup his water bottle.

He first applied the Iron Palm liniment then applied the Die Da Jiu, the next day he was almost pain free, so much so that he was able to carry two 5 gallon bottles of water he filled up with little discomfort.

If your training consist of just hitting the heavy punching bag then we suggest the Iron Palm Formula.

No Side Effects

We are always asked if their are any side effects from using Die Da Jiu and as far as we know their is not. We recommend women who are pregnant to talk with their health care professional first before using just to make sure it will not interfere with the pregnancy.

If you are on blood thinners like Coumadin or Plavix speak with your doctor before using since Die Da Jiu slightly thins the blood at the injury to break up blood stasis.

Other than the above that we mentioned there is no contraindications with using Die Da Jiu and can be applied as often as you wish, it can also be used as a poultice if you wish.

One last important point, each kit is prepared fresh before they ship guaranteeing you receive the freshest kit possible and not a kit that has been sitting around for months or longer.
